WINNERS - Y5 STEM challenge day at Boston High School

Our year 5 girls have done us particularly proud today at the Boston High School STEM challenge day. Our two groups of girls took part in three different science, technology, engineering and maths activities which really tested their thinking skills. They had to make the fastest skeleton bob sleigh, create a parachute to stop an egg from cracking and build a heatproof pot for a chunk of chocolate in an oven. It was such great fun and our girls loved it. A huge well done to all of our girls, particularly our group of three who won the whole competiton amongst lots of teams of five/six pupils. We are so proud and it really shows the learning skills that are happening at our school. Well done!
