Your child complete timestables in a practical way by using items around the home such as pasta or buttons to put in groups of five so your child can see how many groups of 5 there are and then physically count the items in groups of five.

For example 3x5=

Your child can work this out by making 3 groups of 5 and then count in 5s.

This will assist your child in recognising the answer to 3x5 is 15.
