Information regarding Mid-year Admissions during National Lockdown

Mid year admissions.

Parents will still be able to make in year applications to move schools during lockdown. If a child is accessing remote learning and the child is not vulnerable or the child of a critical worker, then schools may wish to delay their start until after February half term if appropriate to do so. Schools will need to liaise directly with the parent(s) once a place has been offered to make suitable arrangements depending on the circumstances of each case, whilst ensuring that children without access to education are provided with appropriate education as soon as possible after an offer is made in line with normal timescales. The admissions team can be contacted at midyearadmissions@lincolnshire.gov.uk for further advice about offering places.
