World Book Day 2020

As part of our plants topic Robins have been growing their own beans.

Robins class have made their own paper plate based on one of the seven days from 'The Creation Story'.

Robins class using the class shop to help them understand the value of money.

This week in maths we have been learning about the value of coins and notes and putting them in order of value.

We have been busy using the tuck, straight and star positions in gymnastics to come up with a group sequence.

We have been using venn diagrams to help us sort old and new toys.

To start our toys from the past topic we have been exploring different toys and trying to put them into a toy timeline.

We have been busy making some Christmas tree decorations and calendars for ready for the start of 2020.

Today we have a very special guest visit Quadring Primary School. After all of the excitement we had a Christmas party lunch and games.

We have been on an autumn walk.

The children have been taking part in some yoga.

Today the children have been acting out the story of Rama and Sita.

We have been learning an important skill which is how to put someone into the recovery position. The children will then be writing their own set of instructions to go with their learning.

We have been writing our names in Braille our names using chickpeas.

This term we have been learning how to play tag rugby.

Robins class taught the whole school about the process of sugar beet as part of our Harvest Festival Assembly.

We have been learning all about place value in maths this week.

This term the children have been taking part in show and tell. The children chose 3 things they wanted to show the class so we could get to know them even better.

Today we explored the classroom to see how many different nouns we could find.

We have been using counters to help with our counting and adding.

Today in Robins we were trying to order numbers from 0 to 30.

To celebrate Roald Dahl Day Robins class looked at the book Esio Trot and Tommy the tortoise came to visit us as our very special guest.
