Fri 08 Feb 2019 Mrs Jameson

This week saw the launch of the Quadring Healthy Tuck Shop planned, organised and run by our very own young entrepreneur Olivia and the Quadring School Council. What a fantastic and successful start we have had with most of the healthy snacks being sold out by the end of this week!!!! The Tuck Shop Team are having to get their orders in quickly to the school office to ensure that we have enough stock!

An enormous thank you to Matthew who designed the Tuck Shop logo for the team.

  • Letter from the Department of Education

Fri 08 Feb 2019 Mrs Jameson

Last week, it was once again a pleasure for the staff and children to receive a letter from the RT Hon Damian Hinds MP, Secretary of State for Education and the RT Hon Nick Gibb MP, Minister of State for School Standards, congratulating the school on ‘very high level of progress that pupils in the school demonstrated in the reading, writing and mathematics Key Stage 2 assessments’. The progress scores gained have placed Quadring Primary School ‘in the top 3% of schools in England’. The letter continued with ‘We want to equip every child with the fluency in reading, writing and mathematics necessary to prepare them for a successful secondary education and beyond, and your school has provided this. Thank you for producing such high standards through your hard work and professionalism, and congratulations again for all you have achieved’.

Once again well done to all who made this possible.

  • Children's Mental Health Week 4th - 10th February

Mon 04 Feb 2019 Mrs Jameson

This week is Children's Mental Health Week 4th - 10th February as the theme this year is 'Healthy Inside and Out'.

As parents and carers, you play a very important role in your child’s health.

When we take steps to be Healthy: Inside and Out, it helps us to feel better in ourselves, focus on what we want to do and deal with difficult times.

These resources are full of ideas to help you look after your bodies and minds together – and encourage their school to get involved too.
