Weekly spellings sent home on a Friday (Year 1 and Year 2). Test following Friday.
Weekly number bonds/ times tables sent home on a Friday (Year 1 and Year 2). Test following Friday.
We would encourage all children to read daily at home - reading books can be changed on a daily basis if required but we understand that some books may take longer to read.
This term we are focusing on getting to know each other and what our interests are therefore each child will be given a date, where they are encouraged to bring items into school to share with the rest of the class (please see your child's homework folder). Any homework set will be sent home with your child on a Friday and is to be returned to school on the following Wednesday.
Other homework may be sent home that is related to your child’s learning to consolidate their knowledge.
