Welcome to the Robins' Class Page

Thank you for visiting our class page. We hope you enjoy seeing all of the wonderful things we do over the year. There will be regular updates to the class page so please keep coming back to see what learning we have been doing and for any potential updates.

We had a very special visitor in school...Tommy the Tortoise.

The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebrations

We explored the school grounds to find and identify different plants that grow around school.

We went to the nature reserve to find different objects in our local area and discover what materials they were made of.

For World Book Day we based the day around The Three Little Pigs. We built our own houses to see if they would be able to be blown down by the Big Bad Wolf.

In science, we investigated if a range of items were waterproof, flexible or if they could be squashed.

We had a go at putting different toys into a timeline from when they were first made.

Christmas Party Day. We even had a very special visit from Santa.

The Christingle service in Church.

We made our own Christingles.

We went on a walk around our local area to look for signs of autumn.

We made our own poppies for Remembrance Day.

For STEM day we made our own rafts for the The Billy Goats Gruff to be able to cross the river without going over the bridge.

We were luckily enough to be able to try taiko drumming

In science we have been learning about the importance of hygiene. We did an investigation to how best to wash germs off our hands. We found out that warm water and soap is best.

In RE we have been learning about the Jewish festival of Sukkot and we have build our own Sukkah.

We dressed in yellow for Hello Yellow Day

We have been enjoying reading the books in our book corner.
