Reading
Your child has their own reading book from the school reading scheme to read at home. We would encourage you to hear your child read daily, but we do appreciate that this may not always be possible. Please record each time your child reads in their reading record. Please do not worry if your child does not complete the whole book in one go, their book will not be changed until they have read it all.
Number Bonds/ Times tables
Number bonds to both 10 and 20 are a vital part of maths learning in Year 1 and 2. Please practise these using the game below to keep them fresh in their mind.

Times tables are also a vital part of your child learning in maths throughout the school. Please practise using Times Tables Rockstars. You child should have been provided with their own login details but if you are not sure what these are please let Mr Hornsey know.
