Information regarding Key Worker status during National Lockdown
Vulnerable children and children of critical workers
The Department of Education have advised that during the period of national lockdown, schools and colleges should only remain open for vulnerable children and the children of critical workers to attend in person. Children with at least one parent or carer who is listed as a critical worker are eligible for a school place. It is not necessary for both parents to be critical workers for schools to be able to offer a place. Parents/schools can contact keyworker@lincolnshire.gov.uk for advice about key worker/vulnerable child status. School Admissions will direct parents to the appropriate government guidance, and advise that they should discuss eligibility directly with schools.
