The Head Teacher and Governors of Quadring Cowley and Brown’s Primary School are seeking to appoint a friendly, enthusiastic, hard-working and reliable cleaner to join our team and assist with maintaining the high standards of cleaning within the school.

 

Salary - G1 level 2 £17842-£18562 pa (pro rata for hours actual salary £5175-£5384)

 Part time, 12.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year which includes 25 hours deep clean to be conducted during staff inset days

 

Contract- Temporary (with potential to become permanent following a successful probation period )  Part time; Term Time only

 

Hours per week - 12.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year which includes 25 hours deep clean to be conducted during staff inset days Hours will be 15.30-18.00 Monday to Friday during school term.

 

 The successful candidate will

 

  • Undertake cleaning tasks to a high standard and take pride in their work
  • Safely store cleaning materials and equipment adhering to all health and safety legislations
  • Undertake all training relevant to their role
  • Be conscientious and show initiative, be flexible in their work
  • Report to their Line Manager regarding any issues relating to cleaning equipment and materials
  • Be able to work both independently and take direction as part of a team approach to cleaning

 

Previous experience of cleaning in a commercial environment is desirable but not essential. Ideally, the successful candidate would be available to start as soon as possible but no later than Monday 1st November.

 

Hours will be 15.30-18.00 Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri during school term
