Your child could complete timestables in a practical way by using items around the home such as pasta or buttons to put in groups of two so your child can see how many groups of 2 there are and then physically count the items in groups of two.
For example 3x2=
Your child can work this out by making 3 groups of 2 and then count in 2s.
This will assist your child in recognising the answer to 3x2 is 6.
