About the Role
The Governors of Quadring Cowley & Brown’s School are seeking to recruit a motivated, dedicated and ambitious leader to take on the challenge of ensuring the continued growth and development of our school community.
The school is located in a rural area in the village of Quadring, south of Donington and north of Gosberton, near Spalding in Lincolnshire. Our school currently educates approximately 100 pupils, catering to children from reception through to Year 6.
We deliver an ambitious curriculum and offer a diverse range of extra-curricular activities both on and off site and are proud of the inclusive nature of these. We maintain the very highest expectations and aspirations for all pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and are very proud of our commitment to supporting those pupils.
As Headteacher of QCB you will
• Be a visible, enthusiastic and emotionally intelligent leader who builds trust through openness and empathy
• Work effectively and collaboratively with the Governing Body and, senior leadership and staff in order to realise the ambitious vision for the school, thinking strategically across the whole school setting and ensuring effective financial management
• Have a thorough understanding of systems for safeguarding and child protection to ensure the welfare of all children
• Be approachable, an excellent communicator and able to develop and maintain good relationships at all levels
• Engage actively in school life, supporting pupils, staff, and families with consistency and care.
